Prof. Gafar .T. Ijaiya is a Professor of Economics (Development Economist, Public Policy and Poverty Analyst and Strategic Planner). He has is B.Sc. (Hons.), an M.Sc Degree in Economics from the University of Jos and a Ph.D. from Usanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto all in Nigeria. Prof. Gafar Ijaiya has served as Head of the Department of Economics, and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Science, University of Ilorin. He has also served as the Director of Unilorin Business School and Chairman of Unilorin Sports Council. Presently, he is the Financial Secretary of the Offa Professors’ Forum.
